OK, I am trying to decide which direction to take my blog in. Since my life is relatively routine and a little boring (that's not such a bad thing), I think I will comment on recent events in the news. These postings will focus primarily on the celebrity world because a. they are not tragic, doomed characters (even if they are, they are millionares, so who cares?) and b. they are just more interesting than me.
For those of you who want to know about me, here it goes in one paragraph: I have been married 10 years to Brad, my high school sweetheart. We have 2 kids, Wyatt (5) and Georgia Grace (2). We work, eat and sleep. Since we both work full-time, we spend our free time with the kids. We spend time at the ballparks and YMCA and tennis courts. We love to take our kids to places they have never been. (We also love to go to the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando over and over again as a guilty pleasure.) I have a wonderful family that I miss very much. My parents live here in Florida which is wonderful. I have one grandparent who is still living and I love her more than anything. I have very few close friends, and I am fine with that. I choose not to have high maintenance friends because I have kids and that is enough drama for me. So, Susie, Edi, Audra, Amy, Katie (who happens to be a relative too!), Michele, you made this short-list....congratulations.
